Testimonials
"Helped me to understand my situation, and to realise how and what I needed to do." -- Sharon, Nottingham, 2012.
"I feel more supported now than I have ever been." -- Charles, Beeston, 2013.
"Thank you for the help and support over what was a very difficult period for me recently. The counselling sessions gave me a safe and non-judgmental environment in which to work through my issues, and were instrumental in getting me through this period and back to myself." -- Robert, West Bridgford, 2014.
" Counselling for me was a way of being able to put a lid on the past. Sometimes past problems or situations hang over you like a dark cloud and you can't enjoy your life properly in the here and now. Once you talk about it and say those words they don't carry the upset they had when they were going round in your head. It's like talking about it lets the problem go, then you can leave the past behind you where it belongs and happily move on. Thanks." -- Tina, Sawley, 2015.
"Thank you for being my safe haven!" -- Bridget, Toton, Aug 2016-Sept 2021.
" I began, feeling like a box that was full, with people still trying to put more stuff into it.(Oct). It feels much more organised and in order now - like I can cope now" (Dec) -- Noelle, Long Eaton, 2017.
"Invaluable as a sounding board, a validation, challenge and reality check on how I am feeling, how this may impact on others and then my expectations of the people around me. As you know I entered our work together with a degree of reluctance if not skepticism about counselling from the perspective of benefit and my willingness to engage, however neither could be further from the truth. With your help I have been able to plan and deliver significant changes in my life which are having very positive outcomes." -- Ed, Loughborough, Sept 2019 - Oct 2020.
''Tracie helped me change my life for the better. For 40 years I had suffered with anxiety, self-doubt and harmful negative thoughts. Through Tracie showing me empathy and passing no judgement I was able to share with her my deepest thoughts and feelings. I felt safe in her presence and felt her strength when she wasn't with me. I was able to grow in confidence through the counselling sessions and figure out my true identity. I am not controlled by my past anymore, I am able to control my anxiety and I am proud of who I am.'' -- Nora, Leicester, Oct 2018 - Jan 2021.
''I want to say a massive thank you. You have helped me grow so much not only in my confidence but also in understanding a clearer picture of a direction of my life. I felt confused and lost when I first met you, and I'm really glad that I have found you as you are so easy to talk to, just like a friend. I was feeling a bit apprehensive thinking about having sessions but in hindsight it's one of the best things I did for myself.'' -- Julya, Sandiacre, Mar - Aug 2021.
"I needed some help to understand what I’ve been going through over the last few years . My sessions gave me the self confidence to take back my life . They helped me find my love for life again and can’t thank Tracie enough for her patience & non judgemental approach to my problems." -- May, Sandiacre, Sept 2023 - Feb 2024.
